Court awarded RUB 712,500 over add-on products sold with a car
When buying a car, our client paid RUB 500,000 for the COMBO TECH programme. RUB 25,000 was returned voluntarily before the court’s decision. The court then ordered Soyuz Profi Expert LLC (ООО «Союз Профи Эксперт») to refund the remaining RUB 475,000 and pay a RUB 237,500 consumer-protection penalty, bringing the award to RUB 712,500. The court also invalidated a separate agreement with Ultra LLC (ООО «Ультра») and ordered the relevant equipment to be returned to that company. The claim was granted in part. Receipt of the RUB 712,500 awarded by the court has not been confirmed.
Situation

Our position
The court ordered Soyuz Profi Expert LLC (ООО «Союз Профи Эксперт») to refund the remaining RUB 475,000 and pay a RUB 237,500 consumer-protection penalty, bringing the award to RUB 712,500.
The court also invalidated a separate agreement with Ultra LLC (ООО «Ультра») and ordered the relevant equipment to be returned to that company.
The claim was granted in part. Receipt of the RUB 712,500 awarded by the court has not been confirmed.
